Your e-vite says Spring Lake, Michigan but your wedding takes place at Muskegon Brewing Company in Muskegon, Michigan?

Answer

Yes - while our wedding venue, Muskegon Brewing Company, is located in Muskegon, Michigan, we do recommend you to plan your stay in Spring Lake (B&D's hometown) or neighboring Grand Haven (both are about a 20 minute drive to the wedding venue). You'll see on our Things To Do page, many recommendations fall within this area. That said, you'll notice on our Travel page - there ARE Muskegon area hotel recommended for those looking for ease of proximity to venue. Up to you!

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

We want guests to have fun but get home safe. If you need a DD, know that Ubers/Lyfts are sparse so scheduling days in advance is recommended. Hotels can be more accommodating with shuttles, while local Taxi services can be coordinated in advance through the following recommendations: - Cindy's Moonlight Express: (269) 910-3222 - Mi Driver Car & Taxi Service: (231) 335-4545 - Express Taxi - (231) 571-0741 - Metro Cab - (616) 827-6500 - Michael Hanners (private driver) - 231-260-0153 (prefers texting) **Pick-ups should be scheduled for no later than 11 PM, when the venue closes.

Will festivities be taking place inside or outdoors?

Answer

Both...weather gods permitting! Our ceremony & cocktail hour is scheduled to be outside, while dinner and dancing will for sure take place inside. If all goes according to plan, it is recommended to bring a jacket/shawl/sweater to ensure you're comfortable - May weather is unpredictable! An umbrella might not be out of the question :(

Nope! Simple enough - if you'd like to gift, we're accepting contributions to our honeymoon fund.

Yes - plenty of parking available at the venue (Muskegon Brewing Company).

No - one person per household will be sent multiple text reminders from Zola leading up to the big day!

How soon do Airbnb/VRBO properties book up in your area?

Answer

If you prefer an Airbnb to a hotel, especially with a larger group, its a great option! For our area, we recommend looking into accommodations 4-5 months in advance for the widest range of selections (Dec/Jan timing).
