Maid of Honor
As my youngest sister with a 6 1/2 year age gap, Kandace and I didn't grow up close, but instead, bonded as adults. As my sister, I know she'd do anything for me, and I'm excited for her to stand by me on our wedding day!
Matron of Honor
Originally the girlfriend of an acquaintance, Jackie and I met freshman year of high school when her then-boyfriend asked a few of us girls to talk to her on AIM before a dance he was going to bring her to. He wanted her to feel more comfortable. We hit it off, and Jackie quickly became one of my very best friends. She has been there for me through many of life's ups and downs, and I couldn't do this without her.
Bridesmaid
My other sister, and the middle child, Samantha and I spent much of our lives living in the same house, trying (and mostly failing) to keep things clean enough for our mom. She's also a wonderful aunt to Harper, who loves her so much. I'm excited for her to be there with us on our big day!
Bridesmaid
Abby is my oldest friend, going all the way back to second grade. She and I are very similar in some ways, and as a result, have always had a strong bond. Abby was actually my maid of honor in my first wedding, but her dislike of speeches makes the bridesmaid role a better fit!
Bridesmaid
To round off our foursome, I met Lisa in 6th grade, when she started public school for the first time. On the very first day, Abby declared Lisa her new best friend, which placed Lisa firmly on my list of people I didn't like. Fortunately, we had wood tech together, and became friends in our own right.
Bridesmaid
Allie is Mike's sister, and the absolute best future sister-in-law I could ever wish for. Over the last few years, she and I have become very close. Allie and her fiance, Dan, are our neighbors, and the 4 of us have had many fun nights together, with many more to come!
Bridesmaid
I met Kaitlyn 4 years ago, shortly after I became friends with Mike. She was at the time, the girlfriend (now wife) of Mike's best friend. She's now one of my closest friends, and biggest supporters. I'm so excited to have her with me on our wedding day!
Flower Girl
Harper is the light of my life, a title she shares with her 2 fur brothers, and she's so excited to be Mommy's flower girl!
Best Man
Brock has been Mike's best friend since the 8th grade. Brock and Mike's friendship started through Mr. D'Annunzio's BYC lacrosse team where they bonded over lacrosse, video games, and Will Ferrell movies. Over the years, Brock's lacrosse talents progressed passed a middle school level... and Michael's did not. Since then they have had many good times ("adventures" as they so put them), some of which they actually remember! Mike and Brock talk via FaceTime on a daily basis. Kristin thinks it's a bit excessive, Mike says she's just jealous of their friendship.
Best Man
Mike and Will met at the YMCA, where they bonded over powerlifting. Will was working there, and once Mike got a job with him the two of them were rarely seen without the other. They worked together, lifted together, and even started their own YouTube channel (who could forget Snowflake Fitness?). These days, they spend most of their time together drinking whiskey & Coors Light, and talking about how "strong" they both used to be.
Groomsman
Like most of Mike's friendships, Sean and Mike's began at the YMCA. Sean agreed to attend Mike's 21st birthday party, and since then its been nothing but good times. Well actually... [Fun Fact; Mike wrestled in high-school for a short period of time and he lost every single match except one; against a girl.] Well, one night Mike decided to take on Sean. Those who were there will be quick to tell you... Mike still can't wrestle.
Groomsman
Steve and Mike met… guess where… at the YMCA. It took Mike longer than he cares to admit to figure out which Borden brother was older, but he thinks he's got it now. "The Corner" at Barnaby's soon became synonymous with Steve, as he was always found there, and shortly after, it became the whole group's corner. If you ask Steve, his favorite memory of Mike is probably the Cincinnati/Shoulder Workout incident. Ask him about it for a good laugh!
Groomsman
Brendan is Michael’s younger brother, by 8 years. The day Brendan was born, Mike was quick to say that his breath smelled horrible (he had just finished drinking his baby formula). Brendan may be the younger sibling, but Mike “looks up” to Brendan a great deal. He's a great athlete, and an even better student. Mike wishes that he put the same time and effort into school and sports that his little brother does. He also can’t wait until Brendan goes to college so Mike can to go with him to all of his college parties.
Groomsman
Dan is Mike's future brother-in-law. They met when Allison introduced them one night at Barnaby’s. Once we had all moved into the same apartment complex, Mike's ideal Friday night had turned into spending time with Allie and Dan. After a few too many, Dan has also contributed Michael’s continued losing wrestling streak.
Groomsman
Steve is Kristin's sister Kandace's boyfriend. Steve and Mike quickly bonded after meeting for the first time at The Denaro's shore house. They soon realized how much they had in common, seeing as they had each chosen to put up with two of the Denaro sisters. Mike looks forward to many more summer nights on the deck with his buddy, Steve, kicking back and drinking Coors light.
