Bride
Dena was born and raised in Noblesville, Indiana and attended Indiana University. She spent a semester studying abroad in Australia her junior year. After college, Dena spent a year working at a U.S. military vacation resort in Garmisch, Germany. She then returned to Indiana to pursue a master’s degree in Student Affairs from Ball State University. Dena's first job after graduate school was at the University of Florida. In this role, she was able to travel extensively and work with various groups of students. After 8 years in Florida, she finally decided to move home to Indiana, where she accepted a job as in the Butler University study abroad office. Like Ned, Dena loves travel, boating, water sports, snow skiing, cooking, and golden retrievers.
Ned Mulligan

Ned was raised in New Hampshire. He has a brother (Jamey) and a sister (Hayden). Ned got his BA in economics from Dickinson College in Pennsylvania and spent his junior year studying abroad in England. That experience cemented Ned's passion for different cultures, food, and travel. After college, Ned was as a golf professional before enrolling in law school at Indiana University, where he made many life-long friends, including Peter Day, who will be officiating Dena and Ned's ceremony. After law school, Ned joined the law firm of Cohen & Malad in Indianapolis, where focuses on prescription drug and defective medical device litigation. Like Dena, Ned loves travel, boating, water sports, snow skiing, and golden retrievers (Ned's golden, Boone, helped get Dena's attention!)
