The best place to fly into is Reno/Tahoe. All major airlines service this airport and it is about a 55 minute drive from Carnelian Bay.

Rental Car or Turo

We suggest renting a car as taxis and Ubers are not really available around Lake Tahoe. You can rent a car directly from the Reno/Tahoe Airport and the cars are parked right outside of baggage claim so no shuttle necessary.

This is a great resort at the base of Squaw Valley, our favorite ski area. It has a golf course, restaurants, a pool, and multiple hot tubs and is only 20 minutes from our reception site.
