Patrick is John’s younger brother. Only a year apart, they spent their whole lives together traveling the United States with the Boyscouts and their parents. Patrick was the first family member to meet Morgan, on a week long trip to see Acadia.
Zac Jones

Zac became friends with John during Orentation at UMaine. Through the first year John spent most of his time with Zac and his roommate Nehemiah. Some of John’s fondest memories at UMaine was driving around in Zac’s mercury dubbed “the golden stallion” or “Goldie” for short. Zac also introduced John to Theo, another groomsman who was Zac’s childhood best friend
Theodore Bollenbach

Theo became great friends with John, on Memorial Day weekend 2019, when an impromptu camping trip went horribly wrong. While Zac was too tired to make the 2 hour treck to John’s apartment in Jonesport, Theo stayed up and John and he shared their mutual love of music, cars, and more. The ring leader of any crowd, Theo is the life of any party and can get anyone and everyone to cut a little loose and have fun
Ryan Quimby
Groomsman
Quimby became friends with John during his college career at a Halloween get together. Similar to Theo, Quimby and John became close friends due to Zac’s inability to stay awake. While Zac was sleeping in the back seat, Quimby and John shared stories music, and an impromptu manual driving lesson. Quimby always has the attention of the crowd for his quick whit, and ALL frills attitude, and is a regular fishing buddy of John and Zac
Nehemiah Brown

Nehemiah was Zac’s roommate freshman year at UMaine. Known as the loose cannon of the friend group he wasn’t at the party he was the party (or he was just wandering the streets in search of a good story). Nehemiah never turned down a good time and even completed a 2000 mile road trip to visit when John was living in Denver Colorado. Through the rest of John’s college career, Nehemiah lived right across the hall at their apartment complex and hosted John daily, and made some of John’s favorite stories of bullwhip making, rock climbing, hiking, and road trips
Ryan Dempsey

Ryan is John’s older brother, and shared with the family his love of movies and rock music. Through John’s high school career, Ryan regularly hosted the family movie night, where he would show us the latest (or oldest) in film culture. Once the family had all slowly began moving away from New Jersey, Ryan has made sure to plan fun nights with the whole family to be sure we’re all still together while we are miles apart
