After almost a decade together, we warmly invite you to join us as we start a new journey of love. You have been such an amazing support system for us, encouraging us to be better, and being our partners in crime when we needed it. Please understand that we are over the moon and excited to celebrate with you. You have each helped to make us who we are today, and we are grateful for it. For that reason, we would be honored to have you with us as we merge ten years of love with the sanctity of marriage.
Around Valentine’s Day, I (Clarissa) went to the RadioShack on 14th street in Manhattan for a new phone. While one of the employees was helping me, Randy (the manager) stepped in. He said he was “more knowledgeable about the phone I was interested in and would be happy to give me his manager's discount, if I purchased the phone with him instead.” After showing me a few phones, I chose one. Once he connected the phone, he asked me to make a call before I left to make sure the phone worked. I explained to him my inability to remember any phone numbers, other than my own, and he laughed. He said, “that’s fine, call my number and I’ll let you know if it’s working.” Of course, I innocently did, and it worked. A few days later Randy slickly text me asking how my day was going and if I was enjoying the phone. I thought it was sweet but told him I was having a difficult time with the phone. He invited me to come back to the store so he can change it for me, and I did. From that day forward we were inseparable!
Every year on Christmas Day, Santa brings each of the kids one special gift, then we all exchange individual gifts. After letting our babies open all their gifts first, Randy handed me my Christmas stocking. Inside, and amongst the most thoughtful little treats were a pair of keys to my brand-new car! I was shocked and hysterically crying. He then led me to the window where there stood a beautiful white Jeep Cherokee with a ginormous red bow on it. It was the best gift ever! I had wanted a car for some time, but we didn’t have the means, so we happily shared one car together. After my awesome gift, I shakingly led Randy back to the couch to open his gift. He was just as shocked as I was when he opened a card that said, “You’re Going to the Bahamas, on a four-day Cruise!” He was so happy. He had been working so hard for us for so long. He deserved that trip more than anything. We were also way overdue for some alone time. Little did I know... the gifts didn’t stop there. Randy then, while I wasn’t looking, got on one knee, and asked me to Marry Him! Without a doubt, I said YES!
