Molly and Clay
Daughter/Son and Bridesmaid/Groomsman
Molly is Sara's daughter and Jeff's soon to be step-daughter. Molly Magoo, Gooch, Molls, Miss Molly By Golly - while she goes by many a nick-name (mostly thought up by Jeff), she always answers to "sweetheart," because she is the absolute most thoughtful, caring, kind, loving person! Molly lights up any room, makes you feel like you are the most important person at a party, and always knows how to include everyone in the fun. Clay (Sara's son and Jeff's soon to be step-son) is an all-around bright and shining light! This young man is responsible, considerate, fun-loving and loyal to his family and friends. Clay is fun and funny to be around. His sense of humor makes him the life of any party. Sara and Jeff are so thankful to have Clay by their side on their very special wedding day.
Karey and Keith
Bridesmaid and Groomsman
If you know, you know. Karey is Sara's tried and true, best friend forever, soul-sistah, and ride or die. Since they were 14, Karey and Sara have been getting in to good trouble and making ever-lasting memories. They have raised their babies together, gone through life's most difficult and most beautiful moments together, and will probably outlive everyone they love and live happily ever after in an old-folks home playing bingo and eating cheese fries. Keith is Karey's better half, a better golfer, a better carpenter, a better cook (debatable) and an all around wonderful guy, and is a dear friend to both Sara and Jeff. Having Karey and Keith stand by their side on the wedding day will make everything feel just right.
Matt and Judie
Groomsman and Bridesmaid
Matt has been Jeff's very best friend since their days working together in the S.I.C.U. at Denver Health. After the work-day was done, the two were known to tear up the slopes back-country skiing, causes some shenanigans in Denver drinking establishments, take some epic road trips and sit around a fire pit basically cracking each other up. Shown here with his beautiful wife, Judie (who is one of the bridesmaids), and adorable son, Wolf (the Ring Bearer for our wedding ceremony), Matt rarely gets Jeff into trouble anymore. 😉 In fact, Matt and Judie have taken "Uncle Jeff" under their wing and made Sara feel like true family. Sara and Jeff cannot wait to have them stand next to them on their special wedding day.
Jan
Jeff's Mom
Jan is the most genuine, kind-hearted and sweet soul! Jeff talked about his mom from the time he first met Sara and after getting to know and love her, she knows why! Sara and Jeff got engaged while celebrating an early Christmas with Jan in Salida, and have enjoyed many other memorable visits together the past couple years. Jan is a rock in the lives of her family and Sara and Jeff are so happy to have her joining them on their special day.
Gary
Jeff’s Dad, in loving memory
Jeff's dad, Gary, passed away in July 2021. Not a day passes that his memories don't enrich all our lives. If only Sara could have known him! But, Sara and Jeff both feel that Gary's heavenly hand had something to do in their meeting that day back in May of 2022. Gary was a loving husband to Jan, a caring father to Jeff, Jason and Heather, and an upstanding member of his community. Gary was also a veteran.
Peggy and George
Sara's Parents
These two fun-loving folks have been the backbone of Sara's life. Peggy and George are the most supportive, encouraging and loving parents. They are also wonderful grandparents to Clay and Molly. Jeff has enjoyed beating Peggy at many games, like BONKO and bean bag toss. George and Jeff have had quite a few great conversations and shared football games on TV. Two travel highlights with them has been a vacation to Hawaii (along with the kids) in 2023 and then a stellar trip together in Las Vegas over Mother's Day weekend in 2024! We are so lucky to have them in our lives!
Ryan and Megan
Brother and Sister in Law
These two hold a special place in our hearts. Ryan is Sara's brother, and Megan is his life partner. The two live in Manhattan but have made many trips to be with family in Colorado, Chicago, even Hawaii years back. Recently, Ryan made the trip to Colorado so he could see high school friends and meet Jeff. Jeff and Ryan hit it off! At a family wedding in Chicago, the two helped Peggy close down the hotel bar and had some good laughs through the night. Sara could not be more proud and honored to have Ryan and Megan join them for the special day.
Heather and Corey
Sister and Brother in Law
These newlyweds are extra special to Jeff and Sara. Heather is Jeff's sister and Corey is his brother-in-law. In 2022, Heather and Corey met Sara for the first time while visiting for the Fourth of July. Later came trips to Wyoming with Jeff's mom, Jan, and then Jeff and Sara visited them all in California for Thanksgiving. Corey, Heather, Sara and Jeff took a little adventure to Santa Monica pier. In February of this year, Jeff and Sara attended their wedding. Having Corey and Heather with them for their own wedding will mean the world to Sara and Jeff.
Jason
Brother
Jason and Jeff grew up together in California and Wyoming. Close in age and sharing many friends growing up, they have made many memories together over the years. From swim team antics to adult life lessons, these brothers have always stayed close.
