Mission Point Resort

We recommend guests stay at the Mission Point Resort on Mackinac Island as this is the venue for our wedding. If you book through this link, it should take you to the "Stersic-Zuluaga Wedding" page where you'll be booking in our hotel block and will receive a discount. The discount is only for the nights of August 9th and August 10th. If you're someone who wants to stay with us until Saturday, make sure to call Mission Point and ask to reserve rooms through Saturday, August 12th! Make sure to mention you're coming for the Stersic Zuluaga Wedding to receive the discount for the first two nights. Make sure to book that third night soon because the night of the 11th is not in our block & is available to the public, so they are going fast! You can also look for places near the island in St. Ignace or Mackinaw City for the remainder of your stay!

Ferry Information

Use the Shepler's Ferry website link to find the ferry schedule, prices, and more relevant information. Keep in mind: you may need to pay for parking depending on if you're staying overnight on the island or not. The first ferry heads to Mackinac Island from St. Ignace at 7:30AM and departs from Mackinac Island back to St. Ignace at 9PM (for guests not staying on the island). *Note: when Camilo and I travel to Mackinac Island, we usually depart from St. Ignace. The first ferry heads to Mackinac Island from Mackinaw City at 7:30AM and departs from Mackinac Island back to Mackinaw City at 10PM (for guests not staying on the island).
