Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by December 31, 2025! We appreciate any early RSVPs to help us determine quantities of shuttles!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is listed individually under each event. Long story short, wear what makes you comfortable (but please no jeans or shorts)! If you prefer Indian clothing for all events, that is fine with us! If you prefer no Indian clothing, that is also fine with us! We want everyone to be comfortable and enjoy the day. If you would like to try wearing Indian clothing but don't know where to start (similar to Colleen when she first started dating Deepak), we are happy to help! Shoot us a message :)

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The day will be long. The Hindu Ceremony is set to start at 830am, so please arrive around 815am. We will provide transportation from the hotels for our out of town guests and will provide transportation back at the break in the afternoon. The evening ceremony starts at 6pm sharp. Please arrive by 545 latest. If you are late to the evening ceremony, we will not be opening the doors to let anyone in (sorry!). The evening ceremony is a bit more intimate and it's important to the couple that there are no distractions. We will provide transportation from the hotel to the venue for all who desire.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation lists you and your date by name or "Your Name and Guest," then you are welcome to bring a date. Otherwise, please only bring the people addressed on your invitation. We wish we could have everyone, but we both have big families which makes for an even bigger wedding! Thanks for understanding.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Long story short, yes, kids are welcome! Please let us know beforehand if you are bringing any children, how old they are, and what you anticipate them eating (do they only eat buttered pasta, mac and cheese, chicken fingers, dosas?). We understand many people are traveling for this wedding and do not want to split up your family if you don't want to leave the kids at home. We kindly ask that any parents please remove crying or loud children from the ceremony space during the evening ceremony. Thanks!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! Please see the travel tab for more information on our hotel blocks.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! We will be providing transportation all day for people who need it. Please let us know when you RSVP if you anticipate needing shuttle services in the morning/afternoon, evening, or both.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Lucien's can accommodate special requests as long as they are aware in advance. PLEASE let us know when RSVPing if you have a special dietary request.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is parking available on site. Valet parking in the evening.

Question

Will alcohol be served?

Answer

It depends on the event. There will be NO alcohol for the morning and afternoon surrounding the Hindu ceremonies. There will be an open bar in the evening for cocktail hour, the reception, and the after party. We will be doing a champagne toast during the reception, but you are not required to participate by any means! Please do what makes you comfortable!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes, we are registered! Check out the registry tab :)
