The story of how we met has been fiercely debated during the last 7 years and has been the subject of many laughing fits at dinner parties. There's a few things both sides can agree on. We met in Melbourne, Australia at the end of 2011 while at university. We both remember seeing each other for the first time during a presentation in which we were amazed by each other's voice and presence. Soon after, as the universe would have it, we were lucky enough to be in the same group for a project which allowed us to spark our first remarkably insightful conversations. This is where the stories begin to differ. Some would say that Eric threw Candice into the deep end when he didn't show up to the final seminar and she heroically saved the team (& Eric's ass). Others might argue that Eric, while bedridden, remembered the conversations he had shared with Candice, and realized that she was the only one that could save the team. The events that followed ultimately led to our first kiss. Who kissed who? That is a question that might never be answered, but what we both know is that the last 7 years have shown us that the answer doesn’t actually matter.

La historia de cómo nos conocimos ha causado una división fuerte en las sobremesas de los últimos años. Nos conocimos en Australia en el 2011 cuando estudiábamos la carrera. Los dos nos acordamos de la voz y presencia del otro la primera vez que nos vimos. Poco después, tuvimos la suerte de quedar en el mismo grupo en donde platicamos por primera vez. Aquí es donde la historia se empieza a complicar. Algunos dicen que Eric dejó plantado al resto del equipo durante la presentación de un trabajo final y que fue Candice la que salvó la calificación. Otros argumentan que al estar enfermo en la cama, Eric recomendó que le pidieran a Candice que lo cubriera porque era la única que podia salvar al equipo. Los eventos que siguieron nos llevaron a nuestro primer beso. Quién beso a quién? Eso nunca lo sabremos. Pero lo que sí sabemos es que los últimos 7 años nos han enseñado que la respuesta no nos importa.
