If you're looking for a fun time, this is where you'll find it! City Museum is one of our favorite places -- David grew up visiting regularly, and Olivia was introduced to it for the first time on her class trip to STL in 7th grade. It's basically a giant playground built out of repurposed materials and creatively-used artifacts. All you need to enjoy is a sense of adventure!
The STL Zoo is a free attraction that is absolutely worth a visit! Weather permitting, it's a must-see. Entry times can be reserved on the website, and while there is a fee for the parking lot, there is also free street parking throughout Forest Park.
A short walk from the Zoo in Forest Park, the STL Art Museum is another free gem for tourists and locals alike! Special exhibits may require a paid ticket, but the general museum is open to the public and worth a visit no matter what the weather may be.
Home of a ropes course, the STL aquarium, a giant Ferris Wheel, and more, Union Station is a great place to spend an afternoon!
The stretch of South Grand Boulevard near Tower Grove Park is home to some of our favorite restaurants, including The Vine Mediterranean, Cafe Mochi (sushi), The Rooster (brunch), Lulu's Local Eatery (vegan), and more!
City Foundry is a recently renovated space home to a whole host of amazing local restaurants and a bar!
The Grove is a stretch of local bars and restaurants where you're sure to have a great time! Our favorite is Parlor, a bar full of classic arcade games, skee ball lanes, and pinball machines.
Check out the Silver Ballroom for a bar complete with dozens of pinball machines and a jukebox! It also hosts a Korean pop-up restaurant, Tiny Chef, on the weekends -- check them out on Facebook for specials!
An iconic St. Louis attraction! Be forewarned that advance tickets are required to visit the top, but the views of the city are stunning!
