We respectfully ask that all guests plan to wear a mask whenever possible and agree to a touch-free temperature check upon arrival. We also request that our unvaccinated guests have a negative COVID test within 72 hours of the wedding. We appreciate your cooperation and willingness to help keep each other safe and healthy during our celebration!
It all started with a short but sweet prompt on a dating app. According to David, "My friend in Spain said they use this app to actually go on dates. That sounds fun. Let's do that." I (Olivia) hadn't planned on taking him up on it, but something about his sweet smile convinced me otherwise. We had our first date in Carondelet Park in March 2016 and decided to jump right in by going over the New York Times' "36 Questions That Lead to Love." Spoiler alert: they worked. We navigated the highs and lows of the next five years together, including a long-distance stint when Olivia returned to Georgetown University in the fall of 2017. We celebrated our reunion in January 2018 by adopting our beloved dog, Susie, and have felt like our own little family ever since. In May 2021, David officially proposed with a ring we designed ourselves to resemble a flower, using a center stone that had belonged to his mother and grandmother. We are absolutely thrilled to celebrate our wedding this December in your company!
