Question

Do I have to stay at Stonefield Villa Resort to attend the wedding?

Answer

Nope! You can stay elsewhere if you find something that is a better fit for your situation. Once we have a final head count and the date gets closer, we will reach out to ask for air travel information and where everyone will be staying so we can finalize activities.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Dress code: Island Chic. Please be comfortable! It will be warm. Ladies: think of that flowy, lightweight dress that you own (long or short) with a nice sandal or pair of comfy heels/ wedges. We do not recommend very pointed heels due to the terrain. Men: Linen button-down or a polo with dress pants or a nice pair of slacks and some boat shoes or a nicer sneaker.

Question

What will the wedding party wear?

Answer

Tentatively: the groomsmen will be in grey suits and the bridesmaids will be in lilac dresses. More details to come!

Question

When are Dave & Tori getting to the island? What are their travel plans?

Answer

To legally be married, we need to be on the island for at least 3 full business days before the wedding. We will arrive on Tuesday, and we will stay at Stonefield. We plan to check out on the morning of the 29th and move to a different local resort (Jade Mountain) where we will begin our honeymoon.

Question

Do you recommend that we get a meal plan?

Answer

No, we really don't- it doesn't seem worthwhile, in our opinion, for you guys.

Question

The flights are looking really tough with connections and layovers... is this right?

Answer

It depends on your specific needs for travel, but there are many airlines that do direct flights (~5 hrs) to St. Lucia and most of the direct flights are more affordable. Direct service to Saint Lucia is available on the following airlines: - American Airlines from Miami, Charlotte, and Philadelphia; - JetBlue from New York and Boston; - Delta from Atlanta; - United Airlines from New Jersey and Chicago **Travel from JFK seems to be most cost effective from what we have seen on our searches**

Question

Where is the registry?

Answer

You being there with us is the biggest gift of all. We will not be posting a registry for the wedding.
