Question

What are you doing with last names? Can I give you a Middleton-themed gift?

Answer

Great question! For those of you who were wanting to get us "Middleton" gifts, please know that I (Tara) plan to keep my last name as Corbett.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

What would be most helpful for us is money for our honeymoon in Thailand and Vietnam: https://www.honeyfund.com/wedding/taradavid2019 For those who want to give us something tangible, we've put together a small registry at an amazing fair trade store in Durham: http://www.shoponeworldmarket.com/corbettmiddletonregistry We also invite you to redirect some of the money you'd normally give to us and donate it to one of the following places: Animal Protection Society of Durham apsofdurham.org This is where we adopted our dog, Carly! The Representation Project therepresentationproject.org This non-profit fights harmful stereotypes in the media. Orange County Rape Crisis Center ocrcc.org OCRCC provides free and confidential services to survivors of sexual violence. Hack the Hood hackthehood.org This organization introduces under-resourced youth of color to tech careers. One Drop onedrop.org One Drop provides clean water to impoverished countries around the globe.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

There is! The Cambria Hotel will offer a shuttle from the hotel to the church, from the church to The Cotton Room, and from The Cotton Room back to the hotel. If you've got a room booked there, we will be in touch with you directly about the logistics of this.

Question

I see you're getting married at a Catholic Church. Will it be a full mass?

Answer

Nope! Because only one of us is Catholic, we decided to have a shorter 30-minute service with no Eucharist. The gregarious Father Mario will be officiating. He loves weddings and pandas.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, please! We are being intentional about selecting food items that will cater to all types of food restrictions. We want everyone to leave our reception full and happy! You'll have an opportunity to include any food restrictions when you RSVP.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of parking at both locations. This shouldn't be an issue.

Question

Is breakfast available at the Cambria Hotel?

Answer

The Cambria does offer breakfast, but it is not complimentary. If you want to venture out in Durham, we recommend the following breakfast/brunch spots: MONUTS This is where we are getting our reception desserts from! It's always packed and always worth the wait. Website: monutsdonuts.com GUGLHUPF German and divine! Website: guglhupf.com RUE CLER Go here for higher-end Parisian brunch in the heart of downtown.
