Traveling to the Ceremony
During the summer months, Friday travel on I-84 and the Merritt Parkway can become VERY heavy with traffic, no matter the time of day. We hope for all guests to travel safely and without the stress of staring at the clock while sitting in traffic. It's recommended to take alternate routes that avoid the busy interstate and to leave time for potentially sitting in traffic. If highway routes are preferred, please account for 45-60+ minutes of traffic as it can take a 1.5 hours to travel 30 miles from NY to CT. PLEASE NOTE: Transportation will not be provided to or from the ceremony. The Hyatt House Hotel's check-in time is not until 3PM, so it's recommended for guests to get ready to attend the ceremony before hitting the road as the hotel cannot guarantee an early check-in.

Reception Transportation
Buses will be picking up guests staying at the Hyatt House Shelton and departing promptly at 5:15PM. For guests staying in the Monroe/Trumbull area but not at the Hyatt House, Ubers and Lyfts are LIMITED in the area, especially later in the evening, so please account for this when planning your night!

Though this is not a "destination wedding" for many guests, we want everyone to enjoy their night safely. This hotel is located 2.5 miles from St. Catherine's and 11 miles from the Waterview, where the ceremony and reception will take place, respectively. If you wish to do so, please book a room using the details below BEFORE MAY 14, 2024. Transportation will be provided between the Hyatt House and Waterview (reception).
