A few short weeks after our wedding, we are heading to Tanzania for a 6 day safari and then Zanzibar for some relaxing and exploring at the beach! We're going to go on various game drives, one in Tarangire National Park, which is known for its bulbous baobab trees and savannah woodland habitat heavily populated with herds of elephants and a variety of migratory zebra, wildebeest, gazelle, impala, buffalo and more!- Another one in the Ngorongoro Crater, where the crater floor is bestowed with wildlife, an estimated 35,000 in number, comprising zebra, buffalo, lions, hippo, and the rare black rhino! We will also spend a couple of days driving around the Serengeti, this park is known for its famous migration during which six million hooves pound the plains as zebra and Thomson’s gazelle travel alongside millions of wildebeest looking for fresh grazing! We are also going to hike on Mount Oldeani, where we'll climb up about 900 meters to a height of 3,200 meters at the top! We'll see differing vegetation along the way, hiking through open grassland until we reach a spectacular panorama from the top with view in every direction - the Crater to the north, the Serengeti and Lake Eyasi to the West, Lake Manyara to the South, and the Crater highlands to the East!
