1. The Joan Zeidman '87/David Fish '78 Medical Student Emergency Needs Fund
We have established a foundation in perpetuity at The Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University recognizing that medical students will sometimes run into non-tuition financial emergencies while in school that we can help alleviate.

2. Community Volunteers in Medicine
Joan has been volunteering at CVIM since retiring, an organization that provides all types of free medical and dental care for working individuals who cannot afford medical insurance. Their funding is purely from philanthropy, and they take no government dollars.
