Philadelphia is a fabulous city with wonderful museums, historic sites, parks, great walkable neighborhoods and restaurants. If you are coming from out of town for the weekend and don't wish to stay at the Switch House for Saturday, consider staying in the Independence Mall area for the weekend and take in the historic sites in this 250th anniversary of our country! You're an easy Uber, Lyft, or taxi ride from the airport as well as to the Switch House on Sunday. Look into Independence Hall, The National Constitution Center, The Weitzman National Museum of American Jewish History, The Museum of the American Revolution, and many others on Independence Mall, or you can even head to the Benjamin Franklin Parkway for the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Barnes Foundation, the new Calder Gardens.
