Lake Louise Lakeshore Trail
A flat, easy trail that goes along the beautiful Lake Louise shore. This trail is suitable for all abilities and starts just outside the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, so no driving is necessary.
Lake Agnes Tea House Hike
Take a hike on the Lake Agnes Trail and enjoy some fresh baked goods at the famous Tea House. This hike is moderate in terms of fitness requirements and is well travelled and safe. If you want to make it strenuous, you can continue past the Tea House to the Big Bee Hive where you will be able to look down on Lake Louise and the Chateau, on one side, and to Lake Agnes and the Tea House on the other side. The Big Bee Hive trail is spectacular, but be prepared for some strenuous parts and narrow trails along steep inclines.
Moraine Lake
Only 14 km from Chateau Lake Louise and you will be at one of the most picturesque lakes in the world. Enjoy a stroll along the shoreline.
Johnston Canyon
Take a nice 35-40 minutes drive on the Bow Valley Parkway from Lake Louise to get to Johnston Canyon. Here, you will find a fun, easy hike that allows you to walk directly above Johnston Creek on elevated catwalks. It is a beautiful hike and you won't want to miss it.
Peyto Lake
Lake Louise, the location of our wedding is exquisitely beautiful, but so is Peyto Lake, which you can reach by car and then enjoy a lovely hike or just view from the viewpoint. It is a highlight of Banff National Park and is only a 45 minute drive from the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise.
