Question

Where and what time will be the wedding ceremony held?

Answer

Weather permitting, our ceremony will be held at the Lakeview Terrace in Chateau Lake Louise at 13:30. Please note this will be an outdoor venue. A warm jacket may be required depending on the temperature.

Question

How about the wedding reception?

Answer

Cocktail reception will start at 17:00 in the foyer of the Victoria Ballroom: open bar and hors d'oeuvres will be provided. Dinner will start at 18:00 in the Victoria Ballroom.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our wish is to have a small, intimate wedding with our closest friends and family. If your RSVP does not include a Plus One, that means you are the only one invited.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We want our wedding to be your night off! Unless we have made prior arrangements with you, please give your kids the fun of staying in with the sitter.

Question

Can I take pictures/videos during the wedding ceremony?

Answer

You will be in one of the world’s most beautiful locations. We invite you to leave your devices and enjoy the moment with us during the ceremony. We have hired the best photographer to take care of photos. Saying that, you are more than welcome to use your phone/camera to take pictures after the ceremony.

Question

I am not staying at Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. Where can I park my car?

Answer

Parking is available in the public parking lot adjacent to the hotel free of charge on a first-come first-serve basis. On weekends, this parking lot can become very busy. Paid parking is available at the hotel, but it is only for hotel guests who are staying overnight.

Question

Are there any Covid-19 restrictions that would affect the wedding?

Answer

As of July 1st, 2021, Alberta has entered into Stage 3 of reopening. That means there are no longer capacity limits on either indoor or outdoor gatherings. Mask use in public indoor settings is no longer required. However, at this stage our wedding venue (Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise) still requires require all guests to wear a face mask while in public areas.
