Our story began the modern way: with a swipe on a dating app. We easily connected over our shared passion for exploring, similar interests, and aligned perspectives. A fun fact is that in our very first conversation, we spoke about how chasing the Northern Lights was on both of our bucket lists. That winter, instead of waiting, we turned it into reality.

It happened in Positano in May 2025. We were out on a boat, drifting along the Amalfi Coast as the sun began to set. With an Italian love song playing softly in the background, David got down on one knee — and Gabi said yes.

We have visited 21 countries together and love sharing our adventures on social media. Somehow, a CNN journalist spotted us online and invited us for an interview about our travels in China. Having grown up on different continents, our loved ones are scattered across the globe. Our wedding will be the first time we will be able to have everyone we love gathered together in one single place which makes it all the more meaningful.
