This is so far from where I live and on such an inconvenient day. Why would you do this to me?
Answer
First of all, we love you! We recognize that for many, traveling to our wedding location is not feasible and we understand if you can only send your blessings from afar. For those of you that are able to take time off to join us, there are many different travel options in terms of airports, lodging, side trips, etc. It is our hope that those traveling to our wedding can explore this beautiful area during their visit. As our ceremony is in a remote chapel in the mountains, a rental or shared car will be necessary.

Where should I stay while visiting?
Answer
Greenville, SC is the closest large town. The bridal party will be staying in a smaller town just north of Greenville called Travelers Rest, SC. We reserved a block of rooms at the Hampton Inn in Travelers Rest, SC but feel free to stay anywhere in the area.

Where should I fly in to?
Answer
The closest airports in distance are Greenville (GSP) and Asheville (AVL). However, as most people will need to get a rental car to drive to the ceremony, you may want to fly directly into a larger airport a little farther away such as Charlotte (CLT). Drive time to Table Rock State Park (Reception) from: GSP - 55 min AVL - 50 min CLT - 2 hr

Are you registered anywhere?
Answer
No, we are not. We are not asking for boxed gifts. If you’d like to give us a gift, we have funds that you can contribute to through Zola or we’ll accept anything small enough to fit in an envelope at the reception.
Question
The ceremony and reception are at different locations. Will there be transportation between venues?
Answer
No, unfortunately we will not have transportation between the ceremony and reception. The reception is a 40 min drive from the ceremony through the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We recommend that you rent a car, carpool, and enjoy the ride :)
