Our venue has changed for the Welcome Event in order to accommodate all of our guests! Please join us at the Liberty Tap Room at Fluor Field, where the minor league team plays, for appetizers (no dinner, so come with a full belly!) and drinks. There will be a cash bar so bring your wallets if you plan on imbibing. The field is open air so if you arrive at 7pm you’ll catch the sunset :) Street parking is limited in this area downtown so if you’re not taking an Uber/Lyft, try the parking lot at St. Andrew’s Church caddy-corner from Liberty Tap Room for $5. We can’t wait to see you! ❤️

Ceremony

Attire: Wear cocktail dresses or dark jackets and slacks. South Carolina's upstate in the autumn will likely see daytime temperatures between 60 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit.
Directions: Located about 50 minutes outside of Travelers Rest, this chapel sits on a mountain top. The scenic drive to the top has many switchbacks, so please drive with care! There is little to no cell reception once outside of Travelers Rest, so prepare a map/directions beforehand. Parking: There is limited parking available at the chapel; please carpool, if possible. There are a few spots right next to the chapel as well as an overflow lot at the beginning of the road.
Reception

Immediately following the ceremony, please join us at the Table Rock State Park Lodge for the reception, where we will have a meal, drinks and dancing! How to get there: Table Rock State Park is about a 40 minute drive from the chapel. **Again, it is imperative you save directions to the park prior to leaving town, as there is little to no cell reception in the mountains.** The lodge is located just inside the park, on the main road. The gate attendants will be notified of our reception, so please mention this and do NOT pay the park entrance fee. Side-note: Please be respectful of the grounds. The lodge is on the National Register of Historic Places. Feel free to walk down to the water and admire the grounds, but please keep all alcohol in the lodge or on the patios. Also, we will not be providing transportation after the event, so please drink responsibly.
