One of our favorite spots for a hearty breakfast. Brooklyn Heights also has some of the most beautiful historic homes to enjoy.
TALEA Beer Co.
This is our favorite brewery in the neighborhood. It's got a great vibe, excellent beers, and even some fun wines and cocktails!
Congress Bar
This is our favorite cocktail bar, try the mezcal negroni (David's favorite)!

Frankies 457 Spuntino
This is our favorite Italian food in the neighborhood. Emily's favorite things to order are an olive oil martini and the sausage cavatelli!
Barely Disfigured
We went on some of our early dates here, its an excellent and cozy spot for cocktails and oysters.
Henry Public
This is our favorite place. We've spent many dates and anniversaries here. Everything on the menu is excellent, and it's the best burger around in our opinion!
Poppy's
The best coffee and pastries around! No place to sit so take your treats up the street to Congress park if the weather is nice.
Wingbar
The best buffalo wings (always request flats only) and the cheapest pitcher of beer you'll find in the neighborhood. Need I say more?
Antonio's Pizza
If you're coming to NY for the pizza and not to see us then make sure to stop here! Get a plain slice well done or a vodka sauce deep dish if you're feeling extra hungry.
Finback Brooklyn
Our (second) favorite brewery in Brooklyn and also VERY close to the venue! Also surprisingly good crab rangoons.
Court Street Grocers
The best lunch sandwiches. Period.
Deli Bite
If you're on the run in the morning and need something quick then stop by here for the best egg sandwich! We recommend "The Champion" on a wrap or roll with extra cheese.
The Brooklyn Strategist
The only place we go to for our board game needs, David spends too much time here nerding out and playing Dungeon & Dragons.
Gowanus Yacht Club
HOT DOG! Cash only and endless cheap hot dogs for you to eat. It's the go to outdoor dive bar of the summer.
