FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire requested—think dressy but not formal. Suits, dress shirts, cocktail dresses, and elegant jumpsuits are all perfect. We kindly ask that guests avoid wearing white.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our celebration will be limited to the children of immediate family and those specifically named on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding.

Question

Can I bring a plus one not listed on my invitation?

Answer

Due to space limitations, we’re only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Please indicate this on your RSVP, and we will do our best to accommodate.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We don’t have a registry just yet. Your presence truly means the most to us and gifts are not expected, but we’ll update this page with registry information in the coming weeks.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We won’t be providing transportation, but getting to and from the venue is easy—public transit and ride-share services are readily available (and very New York!).

Question

Is staying in Manhattan going to be too far away?

Answer

If you’re comfortable taking public transit or grabbing a cab/Uber, Manhattan is a great place to stay—especially if you’re planning to explore more of New York City while you’re in town. We take the train all the time; it’s easy, safe, and very convenient. Google Maps does a great job with step-by-step directions and will tell you exactly which trains to take. The closest subway lines to our venue are the R, F, and G.

Question

Do I need a car to get around?

Answer

No car needed! Parking in NYC is limited and expensive, and subways, taxis, and ride-shares will get you almost anywhere faster.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Have you met us? Duh! We can't wait to toast with you!
