Best Lady
Kaitlin and I have been friends since the sixth grade – a friendship based on our shared love of polka dots, shiny things, giraffes, and Thai food. We remained close through college with almost daily Facebook messages that pretty much chronicled our lives. We spent four years living together in Albuquerque in an adorable purple trimmed house, a.k.a. the “House of Kate”. Through the years we’ve truly been through it all and I am so excited to be a part of this happy day - congrats Kaitlin and David!
Best Man
Dave and I met at a Santa Fe 20's and 30's Meetup event in 2014. Dave went looking for a girlfriend and found me instead—we went on our first of many man dates to Blue Corn Brewery the next week and the bromance began to blossom. A love of skiing, Dr. Field Goods, classic Bond movies, home brewing and outdoor gear cemented it, as did Dave's willingness to spend hours working on literally ANY home improvement project and uncanny ability to predict snowfall amounts at the local ski area. I'm thrilled Dave finally found that girlfriend, and that she turned out to be such an awesome match. I’m more than honored to be a part of his and Kaitlin’s big day.

Kaitlin and I were roommates for roughly 15 years, but it feels like I've known her my entire life. When I moved in with her, I didn't really know what to expect (I had never had roommates before), but those years are some of the most treasured memories of my life. Like all roommates we fought sometimes, but the memories that stick with me are all the good times: Singing at the top of our lungs in the car, playing games together, and watching movies. I'm so happy that she has found someone as wonderful as David and count myself fortunate to have such a wonderful sister.

I met David in June 1994--post-birth--he has been my brother ever since. Family is very important and it's been such a blessing to grow up with David by my side. I have a lot of fond memories of us, from him attempting to make me a fur coat out of our dog's hair, to him breaking a window with a golf ball. However, my fondest memory is getting a call from him with his plan to propose--I screamed! I'm so proud of him and incredibly thankful for everything he's taught me. His strength, big heart, kindness, and uncanny ability to answer computer questions has helped me many times. I'm so happy that he found his soulmate! Kaitlin-- David will always be there for you, will always be kind, and strong on days you can’t be. I love you both and I wish you all the happiness in your life together.

Kaitlin and I were randomly assigned roommates our Freshman Year at Western Washington University. Little did we know that this random assignment would turn into us becoming close friends, roommates for the majority of our undergraduate years, but most importantly, sisters. We spent many hours studying, laughing, learning to cook, and dancing around the apartment in our pajamas with Meredith. When we graduated, we traveled to Peru together, discovering the Amazon Jungle and Machu Picchu and Kaitlin's love of Inca Cola. Still, although several states apart, I feel as close as ever to this amazing woman. She is the dear auntie to my daughter and dear sister to me. David is a lucky man! Love you Kaitlin!

David and I “met” as tiny bb’s, floating around in our mothers’ wombs. By the time we were born, less than a month apart, we really had no choice but to become fast friends—the best of childhood friends! In our early years, our mutual love of kitchen pots/pans, toddling around, falling on our faces, trick-or-treating, & visits to the Santa Fe Children’s Museum were what we bonded over. Our school years were all spent separated by various states and time zones, with phone calls & occasional visits between our families. Fast forward 31 years and I feel incredibly grateful for our continued friendship! I’m completely ecstatic for my dear womb-buddy to have found and built a strong, magical partnership with Kaitlin. Cheers & love to you both—looking forward to being a part of your big day!

I met Kaitlin during the first week of college at Western, right after we both moved into rooms on the 3rd floor of Higginson Hall. I had met Kaitlin’s roommate, Olivia, while moving in early, and Olivia pretty much insisted that we all be friends. All of us quickly bonded over late nights in the library, walks all over Bellingham, lots of dancing, and brunches at the “Little Cheerful.” In the 12 years since we’ve met, Kaitlin and I have shared a dorm room, a first apartment, a 1500 mile road trip, hundreds of meals (cooked by one or all of the three girls), dozens of international calls while I was living in Kenya, a few girls’ trips, and more good memories than one would care to count. I’m over-the-moon excited for David, he’s getting to marry a pretty wonderful lady!

David and I have been friends as long as I can remember - but in reality it's been since elementary school. As kids we were always causing trouble in the neighborhood (ask us about the time we threw snowballs at David's neighbors house at the crack of dawn) or setting up little green army men that we definitely had an unhealthy affinity for. But needless to say he’s the only guy I know who would probably still recreate the awesome battles we had if I asked him to do it today. He’s like a brother to me and I would do anything for the guy because I know he would do the same for me. I'm so happy for you and your bride to be!

Kindergarten classmates to 29-year-old friends! The bond began on our 6th grade trip where we ended up sharing a cabin together. Giggling in our bunks, playing flashlight tag in the dark, and just trying to figure out how the heck we were going to survive middle school together. One of my favorite moments of friendship came later when we received our “Driver’s Permits”. Everyone knew that if we were driving someplace together, there would be a great (an often illegal) story at the end of it. Missed stop signs, illegal U-turns, check-engine lights, check-gas lights, really wrong turns, and great music accompanied many drives. Even to this day, Kaitlin still pretends she is pressing on the brake pedal whenever she sits shot-gun with me!

I met David (a.k.a. Billy) 19 long years ago during orientation for 7th grade. It wasn't an immediate friendship, but many years in the same social circle resulted in us becoming very close. We supported each other through the trials and tribulations of high school--the social drama, frustrating assignments, heartbreaks, the existential, and the near-death experience when I botched an experiment in chemistry class. Today we live in different states and don't see each other very often. Breakfast burritos are the glue that holds us together, and it's nice knowing we can always meet up for some delicious food and pick up right where we left off. Having covered so much ground during high school, I'm looking forward to continuing our debate over the most fundamental of issues: red vs. green.
Flower Girl
Auntie Kaitlin and I met at my mommy and daddy’s wedding. She is super nice and sends me scratch and sniff stickers and cards in the mail and a really cool bell for my super fast bike. Auntie Kaitlin will make the most beautiful bride and I am so excited to be her flower girl!
