We met through mutual friends--thanks Reese and Sam! After a couple attempts to get us to meet, Reese and Sam set up dinner and drinks at Zacatecas in Albuquerque. After everyone else left, we wandered around Nob Hill chatting and eating ice cream. A week later, we had our first date on the plaza in Albuquerque where we watched Ghost Busters. After almost three years of "long distance" between Santa Fe and Albuquerque, David proposed to Kaitlin on the beach.

David proposed to Kaitlin on their trip to Cape Cod last summer. After dinner one evening, David insisted on going for a walk on the beach with his sister, Valerie, and her boyfriend, Ryan. Kaitlin took a fair amount of convincing to leave the house but eventually gave in and put on her sandals for a walk. After a brief stroll down the beach, David popped the question and Kaitlin of course said yes! Valerie and Ryan were there to capture the moment.
