Things To Do

We love Albuquerque and Santa Fe and hope you do too! Here are our list of recommendations for things to do.
The 95th Annual Burning of Zozobra (Friday 8/30/19)

The 95th Annual Burning of Zozobra (Friday 8/30/19)

490 Bishops Lodge Road, Santa Fe, NM 87501

What––or Who––Is Zozobra? The Burning of Zozobra is a unique cultural event staged annually by the Kiwanis Club of Santa Fe on the Friday before Labor Day as an exciting and fiery kick-off to the historic Fiestas de Santa Fe.

Old Town Albuquerque

400 San Felipe Street Northwest, Albuquerque, NM 87104
, (505) 373-9123

Wanna see some old adobe but not drive to Santa Fe? You're in luck! Head down to Old Town Albuquerque and wander around local shops, pick up a New Mexico souvenir, and picnic in the park.

Albuquerque Zoo

903 10th Street Southwest, Albuquerque, NM 87102
, (505) 768-2000

The Albuquerque Zoo is a great place to take the kids!

ABQ BioPark Aquarium

2601 Central Avenue Northwest, Albuquerque, NM 87104
, (505) 764-6200

If the zoo isn't your thing and you'd rather see the fish go here! The BioPark also has beautiful gardens that are great for picnics, model trains, and a Bug-arium.

Sandia Peak Tramway

30 Tramway Road Northeast, Albuquerque, NM 87122
, (505) 856-1532

This used to be one of the longest trams...but alas! It can be quite cold (and windy) but has amazing views of Albuquerque, Bernalillo, and beyond! Wear sneakers as there are a few nice walking paths/hikes at that top.

For all the days along the way
