Dave went to school here. The boys and I visited the museum when we were in Colorado the first time back in 2006.

This school has the longest time to graduation - students appear to have too much fun hiking and skiing to properly attend to their studies ;)

With a Main Street named Miners Road, Idaho Springs is a cute town to explore. It is right of Interstate 70 not too far from Evergreen.
First opened in 1863 by Dr. Cummings, the hot springs served as a place for miners to take a healthy bath. You can go for a soak or for a massage at the spa.
Take a 75 minute train ride into the mountains. You can get off and tour an old gold mine or just take in the scenery.
Want to see Colorado from the top of the world without hiking. You can drive almost to the top of Mount Evans at 14,200 ft.
There is a concert at the Evergreen Lake House on June 26th from 5-9 if you are still in the area
