CHO is a 20 minute drive from downtown Charlottesville, and a great option for guests flying in from the Northeast or Chicago.

Richmond International Airport

RIC is about a 1 to 1.5 hour drive from downtown Charlottesville. We recommend RIC for guests traveling from the west coast, midwest, and Boston.

We recommend IAD for guests traveling from the west coast. IAD is about a 2-2.5 hour drive to Charlottesville.

For guests traveling from the D.C. area, we recommend hopping on an Amtrak to the Charlottesville Amtrak Train Station (a five-minute cab ride from downtown).
