We met in the fall of 2014 when Joey -- Dave's friend from college and Liz's friend in law school -- threw a party to introduce the unwitting couple. (Thanks, Joey!) Though we hit it off, we figured it wasn't meant to be since Dave planned to head to an extended trip to Asia just days later. To both our surprise, and to the detriment of Dave's cell phone bill, we ended up talking every day for seven weeks on opposite sides of the world. When Dave came back to the states, he went straight to New Haven.  Four years, two cities, one degree, five jobs, four apartments, thousands of Amtrak miles, and even more times when Liz was the only person laughing at Dave’s awful jokes later, we have become one another's adventure buddy, confidant, biggest fan, and best friend.  Along the way, we have had the love and support of two amazing families and hands-down the world’s best friends. You’ve all made these last four years the most exciting, hilarious, and happy of our lives. We feel so lucky for all your love and support along the way so far, and we know this will carry us through the ups and downs in the years ahead. We are so excited to bring this group together to celebrate. Can’t wait to see you in August!
