Question

Keep Checking Back!

Answer

Please continually check back here to see the updated info. We're currently working on all the details yet and will update as soon as we can. If you need an answer sooner, please feel free to call Jen or Dave if you have specific questions for travel, itinerary, or any other the questions related to the wedding. ...Or if you just wanna chat, call Dave, he'll talk to you as long as you want :)

Question

How long should I stay for?

Answer

We're trying to make this a mini-vaycay / semi destination wedding of sorts. So we will be doing wedding events from Thursday, May 23rd to Monday May 27th. (Check Schedule). We purposely chose Memorial Day weekend so that we had an extra day hang out with all we love and care about. That is what Sunday is being reserved for as the "Recovery Day", we're calling it. As far as the reserving what days to stay the Lodge at Schroon Lake, Jen and I will be checking in Friday, May 24th and checking out Monday, May 27th. If you need accommodations before or after this and don't want to reserve at the Lodge -- please text or call Dave or Jen so we can point you in the right direction!

Question

Where is the RSVP?

Answer

We'll be adding the RSVP section in a few short weeks. Keep checking back!

Question

I'm local, should I stay overnight?

Answer

YES YES YES! This place is going to be a blast! We're considering it kind of a 'stay-cation', of sorts. There is a ton of things to here, like boating, fishing, hiking, etc. Plus after a night of dancing your shoes to oblivion, you'll want to rest those tired dogs ASAP. Lake George is about 25 mins south so, why drive when you can walk to your room right after??

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

While we do love our kiddos there will be no kids at the wedding, unfortunately (besides the kids who are apart of the ceremony). This applies to the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Although, there might be some instances where we can make an exception for the ceremony, as it is (weather permitting) outside. The reception, on the other hand, we will not be able to make the exception as there is alcohol as well as loud music that won't fair well for the youngsters. (sorry!) We do know many of you are traveling with kids and thankfully the venue is a very family friendly place. While we do encourage you to enjoy a mini vacation of sorts with the family at the lodge, you may have to find childcare during the ceremony and reception. With that said, if you are having a hard time finding a babysitter for during this time, please call or text either one of us and we might be able to connect you with someone. As far as the rest of the time of your stay, there is a game room with air hockey, shuffle board, pool tables, along with a swimming pool and a hot tub as well. Also there is a mini golf course, soccer field, full basketball court and other fun stuff. (Not to mention the Lake!)

Question

If I am in upstate NY for a longer period of time before/after the wedding, where should I stay?

Answer

We know some of you will be getting in early or leaving later! We are looking into blocking some rooms at the Quality Inn in Lake George. Details TBD!

For all the days along the way
