Amanda and Mary Beth (Erin's Mom) were co-workers in Michigan. When Erin moved to NC in 2011 in the middle of a winter storm, she crashed on Amanda's couch for a couple of weeks. They found that their personalities were a perfect balance for a lifelong friendship. Despite both having crazy busy lives, they always find time to get together and have some fun! In the past few years, they have become like sisters. They share a love of Michigan football, camping, laughing until their faces hurt, and girl power.
Groomsman
Dave and James met when Dave was first brought home from the hospital as a baby. They have been brothers ever since. They grew up going on camping trips together and were both boy scouts, that eventually became Eagle Scouts. Many days after school were spent golfing together at the Ringgold Golf Course. They share a love of the Chicago Bears, outdoor activities, and Dad's barbecue.

Erin and Lexy found each other on Craigslist when they were looking for new roommates in Brier Creek. They met for the first time in person at Caribou Coffee. The first thing Lexy said to Erin was that she loved her mermaid hair. They were kindred in weirdness and became instant friends. They would often meet in their living room after a long day of work to talk about life and love. They share an appreciation for deep conversation, good wine, and baby goat videos.
Groomsman
Dave and Mason have been best friends since they were both in diapers. They lived down the street from each other so Mason used to come to Dave's house to eat popcorn and watch movies. They have been like brothers for their entire lives. They both love video games, stout beers, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Bridesmaid
Erin and Christine met when they were teaching English at Mills Park Middle School. They loved to plan creative lessons with each other and always lifted each other up in both their professional and personal lives. Christine's positivity and upbeat personality always brighten Erin's day. They share a love for learning new things, happy hours, Whole30, and sharing new books.
Groomsman
Dave and Jake went to Dan River High School and Radford together, then moved to Brier Creek as roommates. Erin still gets a hard time for breaking up their "domestic partnership". The two of them became local legends at Trali Irish Pub. They both love Virginia Tech football, golfing, and wearing superhero onesies.
Bridesmaid
Jamie and Erin also worked together as 7th grade English teachers at Mills Park Middle. They were hallway neighbors and would spend every morning and afternoon talking outside their classroom doors. Jamie quickly became one of Erin's most trusted and loyal friends and is now like family. They share a love of diversity, poetry, and giant margaritas.

Dave and Jarrett knew each other from the time they were in elementary school, and became good friends in high school. They played on Dan River's varsity soccer team together for four years. Jarrett's experience in the military helped Dave make his decision to join. They share a love of roulette, craft beer, and Hawaiian shirts.

When Erin first moved to North Carolina, Julie was her first new friend. They have now been close friends for almost eight years. They met working together as English teachers at Mills Park Middle School. Julie and Erin would spontaneously pick up and go on crazy adventures and weekend trips together. They share a love for new music, tailgating at football games, and relaxing weekends at the beach.

Dave first met Nick at Trophy Brewing when he was visiting Erin. They went on a brewery crawl with their group of friends. Dave is excited for Nick to become his brother-in-law in August! They share a love of insanely spicy foods, hiking, and traveling. Dave is excited to have Nick join his family as a brother-in-law!

Sarah and Erin taught together and now share an office as instructional coaches at Neal Middle School. They challenge each other to be reflective educators and help each other maintain a healthy work-life balance. Sarah makes Erin laugh pretty much through the entire work day. Erin and Sarah can just be 100% themselves around one another. They share a love of teaching, coffee, and finding cool new things to do in Durham.

Dave and Teddy met through Mason when Teddy was attending Averett University in Danville. They met when they pulled up next to each other in a parking lot on their way to a party. After graduation, both moved to the Brier Creek area. They have a fierce rivalry in fantasy football every year. They share a love of fast cars and new tech gadgets.
Bridesmaid
Elizabeth and Erin met when they were at a Red Cross lifeguard training to become pool managers. They were the only people there over there age of 17 so they partnered up for everything. They learned that they both lived in Brier Creek, got together a couple of times, and have been great friends ever since. They share a love of St. Patrick's Day, live music, and big get-togethers with friends.

Mason and Dex were fraternity brothers. Dave met Dex at a party, where the two of them instantly bonded and stood in the kitchen talking all night. It was the start of a beautiful bromance. They have stayed close friends for many years, despite living in separate states. Dave and Dex share a love for bad movies, inappropriate humor, and quality time with big groups of friends.
Bridesmaid
Nicole is Erin's sister-in-law. She met Erin's brother, Nick, at a Michigan alumni event in Utah. Dave and Erin love hanging out with Nick and Nicole during vacations and holidays, but wish they could see them all the time! Nicole officially became part of the family in May of 2018! Erin and Nicole share a love of outdoor adventures, puppies, social justice, and Fleetwood Mac.
Groomsman
Dave and Ben grew up together in Ringgold, Virginia. They were on the same soccer team for ten years and went to middle and high school together. Whenever they get back together, it is like no time has passed since last seeing one another. They share an appreciation of Ma Possums cheeseburger special and making bad decisions.
Officiant
Erin and Ryan worked together at Mills Park for seven years. He is honest, fiercely loyal, and has a huge heart. Ryan is like another brother to her and one of her most trusted and dearest friends. Dave and Erin are excited and honored to have Ryan lead their ceremony as their officiant!
