We will never speak of how we met. Sorry. Just kidding. We met in November 2007 when both of our bands were booked for the same event in Troy, Michigan. It didn't take long for either of us to figure out there was a spark there and we spent most of the weekend hanging out and playing music together.

After several months consisting of countless hours on Facetime calls watching movies and playing games together over Zoom while trying to "wait out the pandemic" we decided it was time for a significant change. On October 16th, 2020 Dave left Chicago with all of his belongings (primarily guitars and video games) and started heading east. We met in Buffalo, NY as a sort of halfway mark, and on the 17th made our way back to Massachusetts where we've been living together ever since.

Dave designed a custom ring at a local jewelry shop and popped the question at the beach on Alora's birthday, after playing her a song he had secretly written and recorded for her with the help of a bunch of friends across several states. Later in the day, a "quick stop" at a friend's house to pick up a gift turned out to be an elaborate surprise engagement / birthday party with a small group of friends. Certainly a birthday to remember!
