Air Travel

If you're flying in, the easiest and most affordable option is to come through DC. There are three options: - Dulles International Airport (IAD) -- an hour away from Culpeper - Reagan National Airport (DCA) -- hour and a half away - Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI) -- two hours away While usually a little pricier, you may want to check tickets from two smaller airports: Charlottesville-Albemarle Airport (45 minutes away) and Richmond International Airport (hour and a half away).

Travel from DC

Culpeper is an hour and a half drive from DC. If you're driving from or through DC, we recommend skipping I-95 (the bane of our collective existence) and taking I-66 for a much prettier drive. If you've got time, take a detour on Skyline Drive: https://www.nps.gov/shen/planyourvisit/driving-skyline-drive.htm If you're flying and plan to rent a car, the most convenient option is to rent a car at the airport. If you're not flying in, another option is Turo: https://turo.com/ If you'd rather not drive, there's an Amtrak train station in downtown Culpeper. If you take the train, we recommend having a friend who has a car. Roundtrip tickets from DC are as low as $25 if you book early: https://www.amtrak.com/stations/clp

Shuttle

Wedding Day Shuttle

August 7, 2021 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm

The wedding venue is a 20-minute drive south of downtown Culpeper. There's plenty of free parking at the venue. If you're driving, we ask that you arrive no later than 4:45pm because the driveway is adjacent to our ceremony site. If you arrive after the ceremony has started at 5pm, you'll have to wait at the bottom of the driveway until the ceremony is over. Very sorry! If you're planning to drink or would rather not drive, we've also booked a shuttle. The shuttles will depart from the parking lot of the Best Western Culpeper (Wyndham Microtel is across the street) at the following times: 3:40pm and 4:35pm. If you're not staying at the hotels, you're welcome to park your car in the Best Western parking lot and take the shuttle from there. Later in the evening, the shuttles will depart from the wedding venue back to the Best Western Culpeper at the following times: 10:00pm and 11:00pm.
