Flight
This is the best place to fly into, which is about a 1.5 hour drive to the Dead Sea (78.8km), or a 40 minute drive to Amman (42.9km).
Travel Note
The Airport Shuttle departs every 30 minutes, between QAIA and our City Terminal conveniently located near 7th Circle. From here travelers can reach any area of Amman and bus terminals to offering transport to the rest of Jordan via taxi or public transport. The City Terminal Shuttle service costs JOD 2 (USD $2.82) per passenger.
Flight
Some budget airlines currently fly into King Hussein International Airport in Aqaba. It is a 3 hour drive to the Dead Sea (264.4km) via Jordan Valley Highway/Route 65 which is the recommended shorter, more scenic drive. To take the Desert Highway/Route 15 will take about 4 h 13 min (326.8 km).
