Once upon a time there were two school friends, Edelina and Bana, who were so devoted to each other they would even move schools together, to maintain their bond of being soul sisters. In their last High School move they formed a group of friends many of whom will be guests at the wedding today. Amongst that group was a young man named Saqr, who would often be picked up from school by his elder brother, when he was in Jordan, this man was Dargam. Years went by and the friends graduated and went to University, after University in the UK Edelina joined the fashion industry and there, she remained honing her skills. At the same time, her soul sister Bana was making her own career and falling in love with Saqr. Meanwhile in another far away land Dargam was building his career and establishing a ‘ Source’ of income As in all good fairy tales soul sisters rally to help one another with things like outfits for the numerous landmark days and as in all good tales coincidence takes a hand. On another day Edelina was in Jordan on vacation and ensuring that birthday greetings would be there for her soul-sister, the young man named Dargam, heard of her visit and flew back to Amman to ‘bump’ into her; many bunches of roses later and after much persistence on Dargam’s part... The stage was set for a long-distance relationship which began with tentative steps. Edelina is not an easy lady to woo but determination has its rewards and Dargam is known for his drive. Slowly via the wonders of FaceTime the relationship evolved and Dargam became the virtual escort of Edelina in her London days, times were about to change. Edelina made the career move to come to Amman and launch her own line whilst cementing her relationship with Dargam from the’ techno present’ to the real. Here we are today four years down the line the long-distance sweethearts are to become husband and wife and as in all good fairy stories, the soul sisters are to become sisters in law. How is that for a happy ending?
