Danny is a guardian by nature with a heart of gold. He is a graduate of Berkeley College of Music and has been playing guitar since he was 10 years old. He loves to read, hike, ski, work on web development, create digital music for ceremony and meditation and he loooves cats and all things related to space!

Chelsea is Malia's "spirit sister" of almost seven years! We have shared moments and been through everything across the spectrum in our time together in this dimension and in many others. We are so blessed to have the sister bond that we do. Chelsea is a yoga and meditation teacher and lives with her partner Joseph in Huntington Beach with her cats.

Patrick is Danny’s older brother. He lives in Denver, CO with his wife Marcia and two sons Stephen (5) and Charles (1).

Ashley is Malia's hilarious, adorable, one of a kind friend from Middle School. We are two peas in a pod and we can go years without seeing each other and when we unite it’s like we’ve never spent a day a part. She lives in the Los Angeles Valley working as a Creative Director with her partner Claude and their doggies and many, many plants.

We met Mitch about six years ago at retreat center we frequented in Joshua Tree. Mitch has become soul family over the years and we are so lucky to live minutes away from him!
Larkin O’Toole
Bridesmaid
Larkin is Malia's high school best friend who has been there through all our craziest years. In our 20s we would drive from LA to SF and SF to LA just to go to each other’s house parties. For the past 20 years, she has introduced me to a large percentage of the music I listen to. We love eating spaghetti in bed and watching Hocus Pocus and all the chick flicks. Larkin lives in the SF Bay Area as a long dedicated helper of the Humane Society with her partner Cody and their doggies.

Ahmet has become near and dear soul family over the last few years. We hold sacred ceremony with him monthly and have the great honor of jamming in various dimensions with him! He is a beam of light and touches every heart who is graced with his presence.

Marcia is Danny’s brother Patrick’s wife who is full of light and smiles and fairy magic! She is a creative person, a great cook and mom of her May 2021 baby Charles and her 5 year old stepson Stephen. We are so excited to be family with our sister Marcia!

It was love at first gathering when we met Eric! He is one of those souls who touches your heart from miles away and makes you cry-laugh with his theatrical stories. He makes everyone feel so good about themselves just with his presence.
Gloria (Perreira) Fishel
Mother of the Bride
Gloria is Malia’s mother and BFF who lives just down the street from us. After leaving her home in Hawaii where she grew up and never left until she was 22, she was a Pan American flight attendant! She then worked as a registered nurse in the intensive care unit for forty years. She now lives in the South Bay and goes on little trips with Malia and enjoys crafts, golfing at her complex, swimming and walks in the sunshine with our doggie.
Evelyn Byrne
Mother of the Groom
Evelyn is Danny’s darling mother who lives in a quiet coastal town of Rhode Island. She enjoys windsurfing, French pastries, flowers and she loooves cats! This is where Danny get’s his warm and tender heart and beautiful blue eyes!
Christopher Lee
Father of the Bride
Chris is Malia’s dad, “Papa” who lives in the Bay area with his partner Joan and their little dog Ellie May. He frequently volunteers by saving wildlife, planting trees and making trails and playing music. Chris has also played guitar (and ukulele!) since he was 10- this is where Malia gets her musical talents from. When Malia was in High School they often played music at the local art and wine festival. Chris took Malia to all three Lilith Fairs (women's music festivals) at Shoreline Amphitheater in the late 90s! Like Malia's mom, Chris also grew up in Hawaii and carries the aloha spirit with him.

Lourdez, “Tiger Mama” is our ceremony facilitator and mentor who we have been working with monthly for several years! So, it was only natural for her to guide this ceremony for us. We are so, so honored to work with this incredible woman who is strong in heart, engineering mind and humor. We can’t help falling in love with her over and over again.
Stephen Tanner
Ring Bearer
Stephen is Danny’s brother Patrick’s first son and his wife Marcia stepson. On Patrick and Marcia’s wedding day he ran up to Marcia, gave her a big hug and exclaimed, “you are the best stepmommy ever!”. When we asked him over Zoom if he would like to be our ring boy he said, “I will DO IT!”. He enjoys trains and loves his baby brother Charlie.

Ruby is the magical daughter of our close friend Violet. Violet has brought so much joy, wisdom and goddess power to Malia’s life, it was only natural to include her and her little one in this special celebration. Malia cherishes the instant sister bond she and Violet have shared over several years. We can’t wait to have her little fairy sprinkle us with her magic!
