A Midsummer Night’s Dream Wedding!

We met all the way back in 2010 when Danny’s band Lightsystem played a show with Malia’s band Safety Toy at a local bar in San Pedro! We were Facebook friends for five years before Danny messaged Malia and asked her out on a date. We met through music of the rock genre and now we play medicine music together!

On Friday October 15th, 2021 we took the windy, bumpy road to Hana Seven Sacred Pools in Maui and when we were standing at the edge of the earth where the waterfalls meet the sea…Danny asked Malia to marry him! He had planned to actually propose underwater to his sea maid, but he was afraid the ring would get lost (haha!) so he carried the violet ring in his backpack for a week waiting for the most magical moment. It was SO perfect! We thank Spirit for all of the trials, tests, curves and bumps to get to this place. Our sprit bond is forever intertwined. Like the windy road to Hana, there are rainbows, waterfalls, trees of green and blue oceans too at the end.
