Do I need a passport to get to the wedding?

Answer

Canada is a foreign country. The easiest way to cross the border is with a passport. If you are driving, an enhanced driver's license from the Washington DOL is an option as well. NEXUS will also speed up your trip, but that is an application process similar to TSA pre-check. Are kids invited?

Answer

While we love all our friends and all their children, this is a night to celebrate without the pressure of worrying about your kids. Therefore as a night off to celebrate with us worry free, the only kids are those in the wedding party. In the event you need to find Whistler based childcare, search www.babysittingwhistler.com.

What's the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire If you want to wear your tux to brush off the cobwebs, go ahead. Otherwise slacks and a dress shirt. For the ladies it is still pretty snowy out in Whistler right now, so tea or floor length will probably be best. Feel free to bring those extra shoes for once the night kicks off!

Can I bring a date?

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, please make sure to check. We have a strict number of seats available and planned accordingly.

Should I bring a gift with me?

Answer

Bringing a gift with you could cause a bit of a customs' headache/nightmare, depending on how zealous your customs officer. For that reason we suggest you ship any gift from the registry to our address on file. Better yet, use this as an excuse to come visit with us and have a drink upon our return from our honeymoon. We know that whatever you are giving us it is going to be awesome and we don't want to make the Canadian and US customs officials to become jealous, plus you need to make sure there is room in the vehicle for the skis or snowboard.
