We're getting married!

Our paths were tangled long before we met during our senior year at Creighton University. We were choosing between the same final three colleges, we shared more friends than either of us realized, and we even lived in the same building in back-to-back years, narrowly missing each other and never quite crossing paths. It was 2018. COVID-19 was still a twist no one saw coming, skinny jeans were in their prime, and Tom Brady was still winning Super Bowls (much to the enormous and unwavering delight of Emily). The first time Danny remembers seeing Emily wasn’t in a classroom or at a party, but on TV. While watching their beloved Jays basketball during a tense moment in the game, the broadcast would cut away for a TV timeout. As it always did, the camera would land on Emily, dancing on the sidelines, radiating energy, and showing thousands her infectious optimism. The camera loved Emily, and, inconveniently for Danny, so did he. Nearly eight years later, Danny and Em have become best friends, travel partners, and exactly where they were always meant to be.
