Star Line Ferry

We have reserved a discounted ferry rate for you to use to get to and from the Island. Please see the below information as far as the discount code. You will be receiving complimentary parking on the mainland for both day travel and overnight on the Island. The ferry schedule is available on the website and you can plan accordingly for your day. ROUNDTRIP TICKET PRICES USING OUR WEDDING CODE: DAKO2022 Adult Ticket: $21 Children 5-12 years: $17 Under 4 years: Free Please Note that this code IS VALID FROM 1/1/2022 to the wedding and ONLY valid for travel dates of the wedding weekend (Weds before the wedding through the weekend) But you CANNOT purchase your ticket until 2022 as the ferry season will not begin offering tickets until then. If you do not have access to a computer, discounted tickets may be purchased upon arrival at our ticket booths by identifying with the names of the bride and groom. TRAVEL INFORMATION

We just want to let you know that we are happy to help answer any questions that come up as far as travel, lodging, ferry tickets, transportation via carriage on the Island and anything else. Please check out other hotels and lodging on the Island and also in both Mackinaw City and St. Ignace as there are many options in those locations. In Mackinaw City and St. Ignace you can find rentals on airbnb, hotels, motels as well as MANY options for camping. We encourage you to look at those if you are not staying on the Island but want to stay close. On the Island there are MANY options as far as hotels and Bed and Breakfasts. Most of these on the Island require a 2 night stay, something to keep in mind as you are looking for lodging options. We suggest to book wherever you stay EARLY as prices go up the longer you wait and availability gets very limited in the area during the summer. We suggest looking at your options soon and deciding what works best for you.

If you would like to take a shuttle to the resort for the wedding you can hop on this shuttle at the ferry dock. The cost is $6 per person and is cash only. You can take this for the wedding or for your stay. This runs consistently over the course of the day. If you are coming just for the wedding be sure to plan extra time to be there with time to attend the wedding
