Amanda and Eric met officially in January of 2019. Our first date was a moment that was undeniable. There was a connection and spark right from the first look and conversation. That date was hours of talking, laughing and learning about our pasts and our goals. From that day forward there was no looking back, we knew at that moment that this was where we were supposed to be and who we were supposed to be with. During our conversations on that first date and following weeks we learned that Eric grew up in a house that Amanda drove by every weekend during the summer on the way to the family property. Then as adults when we met we were living 1 mile apart. There have been so many times that we have learned our lives crossed paths before we knew it! Since we have started dating we have traveled to several states including our first weekend away to Indianapolis, IN, the bourbon trail in Kentucky, Road trips in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, Road trip and vacation at Disney World, Mackinac Island and our favorite place to spend the summer is Whiskey Creek. Through our travels, weekend adventures, time with family and friends we have built a bond that has unlimited possibility for new adventures and travels!

On April 17, 2021 we spent the day up at Whiskey Creek, a normal day of pre-season cleaning. Raking, taking care of branches and things that have fallen over the winter and just a day of working outside. As the day was wrapping up Eric suggested we take Elvis out on a side by side ride to check out the trails for the first time of the season. Of course we made a stop for a photo op at our FAVORITE place, called The Outpost. While out there, Amanda was trying to get some cute pictures of Elvis and of the water, then turned around to see Eric down on one knee with a beautiful ring. After a screech of excitement from Amanda, Eric asked THE QUESTION. With SO much excitement of course Amanda screamed YES! This was the perfect moment, at the perfect place and we are so excited to start this next adventure in our lives!
