What is there to do in Umbria?

Question

I'm staying onsite and need to work remote, will there be wifi?

Answer

Yes, the venue/accommodations have wifi. We ask that you refrain from working during wedding festivities.

Question

What will the weather be like? What do I wear?

Answer

In June, expect temperatures to range from the low 60s at night to the low 80s during the day (help us manifest 80 and sunny!!!). The wedding is cocktail attire. If you need a refresher on what that means, check out this helpful guide: https://www.theknot.com/content/cocktail-wedding-attire. Since all events will be outdoors, please consider this when choosing your outfit (think wedge heels over stilettos). It goes without saying, but please avoid creams, ivories, and whites for the rehearsal dinner and wedding day as those colors are reserved for the bride (if you're wondering if an outfit is too white, it probably is). For other activities, bring summer clothing and light layers for possible cooler evenings. There will be a pool, so pack a bathing suit. We’re planning excursions including wineries, light hiking, and city exploring, so bring comfortable clothing suited for those activities.

Do you have a registry?

Answer

We do not! We've been building our lives together for many years and are fortunate to have everything we need in a comfortable home. Additionally, we understand that all of you are traveling for the wedding, and we are extremely thankful for your presence at our celebration. If gift-giving is your love language and you can't resist, you can donate to our honeymoon fund. Our Venmo information is @DAB11 and @Tyler-Kershaw

What are the nearest airports to the venue?

Answer

The wedding will take place in Umbria, located between Florence and Rome, which are the nearest airports. Italy has many public transportation options, so regardless of which airport you fly into, you can take a train to the town, or opt for driving, if you prefer. Please see the travel tab for more information.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If we have not already communicated to you that you will be able to bring a guest, you will not be able to bring a plus one to the wedding. Thank you for understanding!

Are kids welcome to attend?

Answer

Children are welcome to join us in celebrating, but please note that our event is not designed with children in mind. We leave it to you to decide what’s best for your family and what will make your experience most enjoyable.

Where do I stay?

Answer

We've chosen a venue that offers onsite lodging and space for wedding activities so all guests can stay onsite and do not have to arrange to travel in and out of the venue. If you are choosing not to stay onsite, you can stay in Tavernelle or Perugia, the closest main cities, and you should plan to rent a car. Please visit the travel section of the website for additional details on accommodations.

When is the deadline to RSVP?

The deadline to RSVP has passed (March 23, 2025). Please communicate any changes in your itinerary to D & T asap.

What are the travel dates?

Answer

The wedding festivities will be held from June 22 to June 24, with guests encouraged to arrive on June 21 and stay at least until June 24. We'd love for you to extend your stay and join us in exploring the area until June 27, when we check out of the estate.
