Things to do: - Enter the castle and climb to the top to get a view of the lake and the surrounding hills - There are a few small beaches, but we hear the best one is on the North shore (Address: Lido Arezzo, Via Lungolago 49). - In the town, there are a few shops where you can buy local food products and wine, such as Umbria Terra e Sole and L’Angolo del Buon Gustaio. - Grab a bite to eat at one of the recommended restaurants: Le Scalette, L’Acquario, and Trattoria Dal Castiglionese. - Rent a bike to see and ride around the lake (https://ciclivalentini.it/) Other towns on Lake Trasimeno: - Monte Del Lago - Paciano (fun fact: Ed Sheeran has a house here) - Lake Trasimeno Islands (Isola Maggiore and Isola Polvere) - La Valle Nature Reserve We plan to stop at a winery on our way back to the venue.
