We have a list of all available rooms and as guests RSVP, we will be assigning and coordinating rooms. Some of our friends and family (i.e. siblings) may be asked to stay together in apartments if flexible. We ask that you let us know your preference when you RSVP. Castello di Ristonchi consists of 30 apartments from studios to 2-bedrooms. Each apartment has its own private bathroom and kitchen. Some apartments in the tower have lots of stairs but the best views. We look forward to working with each of you to be sure that you are fully accommodated during your stay. Our formal invites will have more information, so stayed tuned!
Please RSVP by June 27, 2025. We know this is a big decision and everyone is traveling far. We appreciate you all considering to spend some time in Italy with us to share in our celebrations.

We will do our best to accommodate all requests.

Well... it wouldn't be a Tuscan wedding without wine! 🍷 We will be providing alcohol during most events. Check out the schedule—any time alcohol is mentioned, we'll be serving it up! We're also ordering cases of wine, beer, and liquor for everyone to enjoy together—requests are welcome. 🎉 And of course, there will be plenty of delicious food to accompany the drinks! All meals will be provided while at the castle. Expect to indulge in a variety of Tuscan specialties, from antipasti to pasta, and everything in between. 🍝 There is also a cafe to purchase additional food if you find yourself needing something more! That being said, if you have a taste for specialty cocktails, beer, or additional bottles (or cases) of wine, these will be available for purchase once you arrive. These items will be charged to your room and must be paid in full upon check-out. Cheers to a fantastic celebration! 🥂
Getting there is the hardest part, but once you arrive, Europe is quite affordable! Be sure to book your flights in advance. While you can't stay at the castle after the wedding, there are other villas just a few minutes' drive away if you wish to remain in Tuscany. If you plan to extend your vacation beyond the 3-day wedding, the castle is conveniently located near train routes to major cities and Florence airport, which offers low-cost flights across Europe. Be cautious with budget airlines and read the fine print! Additional tips: Familiarize yourself with Airbnb. Europe offers a wide range of options, from apartments in Rome near the Colosseum to villas on the Almafi Coast (🍋Sorrento🍋 is one of our favorite places). Consider taking public transportation via ITALIA RAIL. There are many routes to and from Florence that make visiting Italy and neighboring countries quick and accessible. They also have Trenitalia pass where you can purchased multiple trips that makes visiting multiple cities in Italy a breeze and affordable!
Absolutely! WiFi is available in the common areas, outside, and in the Castello/Tower apartments. However, the Fattoria and Borghetto apartments have very thick stone walls, which prevent the WiFi from reaching those areas.
We hope you choose to stay at the castle but please note: the castle is over 1,000 years old, so it's not like a modern hotel. It's full of rustic charm, with worn floors and small, quirky bathrooms (remember, it was built centuries before plumbing!). Look out for medieval markings on some of the stones in the walls. The castle is nestled in an ancient forest, which means you might see a bug, bee, or spiderweb, but you'll also enjoy the serene natural beauty. There's heating but no air conditioning, though the weather should be perfect, so we likely won't need either. If this sounds uncomfortable, there are villas about a 15-minute drive from the castle. However, we REALLY hope you'll stay with us on-site and experience the unique charm of a Tuscan castle. Note: you will be responsible to get to and from the venue if you stay offsite.
As a US citizen, your passport needs to be valid THREE MONTHS after the date you return in order to travel to Italy.
This is an adults only event. Due to venue constraints we are not able to accommodate children. We appreciate your understanding.
Yes! We will be coordinating to collect dietary information in the RSVP page. Please provide all the necessary details.
Get ready for a fabulous time! 🎉 You'll need clothing suitable for all the fun activities we have planned, like the wedding and pool time. The wedding will be outdoors on grass, so keep that in mind when choosing your shoes. 👠👟 There is also access to hiking trails around the castle if that is something that interests you! We've got plenty of activities lined up, but feel free to bring any books, board games, or other fun items you'd like to share! 📚🎲 Your room will be stocked with bed linens, a towel per guest, hand soap, and shampoo packets. Please bring any additional toiletries you might need and bathing suit if you plan on swimming. 🏊♂️ A more detailed list will be sent once you RSVP. We can't wait to celebrate with you! 🥳
