Call and mention us for a 10% discount! This hotel option is right on Mount Desert Island, close to where the reception will be held, but is a bit pricier. Prices will fluctuate throughout the season, and currently range from $215-$332/night for 2-4 people, depending on the room, and they've offered us a 2-night minimum instead of their usual 3-night.

Our block hold is over, but The Schoodic Institute is still offering our guests two-room suites for the very low price of $196/night for 4-6 people! Pros are the incredible price and staying truly IN the park, cons are that it is, unfortunately, so deep in the park that it is an hour from our Bar Harbor festivities or an emergency room, if medical attention is something you anticipate needing. We will be holding our stargazing event and the bridesmaid events near this location.

Hotel
This Bar Harbor property didn't offer us a discount, but has many rooms ranging from Economy to Deluxe, and is right by all the activities of Bar Harbor and Hulls Cove. NOTE: this is a "pet friendly" hotel, but does not allow you to leave your pets there unattended.
Hotel
A pet-friendly offering from the same company that runs the Belle Isle Motel, this is a series of cottages in Trenton, right near the Bar Harbor airport and a 10-15 minute drive from the Hulls Cove area where much of our wedding weekend will take place. NOTE: a guest let us know that this property would "prefer" that you do not leave your pet out alone in the room, but does allow it-- consider bringing a gate or crate if you are planning to stay here with your furry friends!
Hotel
The most affordable accommodations we could find (and still highly rated!), we weren't actually able to get in contact with this property as of yet, but wanted to list it anyway! In the desirable Bar Harbor area, these rooms start at just $75 dollars a night in the summer; if you're interested, we recommend reaching out ASAP!
Hotel
We'll be honest-- this one is pricey! It's a new glamping property right outside the park, and we just think it's adorable. A few pet-friendly yurts are available, as well as a couple of 2-4 person options for those who want an upscale camping experience. Prices seem to start at $348/night.
Travel Note
Time from NYC: 8 hours; Raleigh: 15.5 hours; Boone: 17 hours; Jacksonville: 20.5 hours, Huntsville: 21.5 hours. Please note that there are a lot of tolls in the northeast, and avoiding them could add 1-3 hours. Along the way, consider making your overnight stops in our old favorite "halfway" spots like Winchester or Fredricksburg, VA, eating at allergy-friendly favorites like Kickshaw's in Fredricksburg or Twist in the Boston area, and getting a taste of Maine at The Holy Donut in Portland.
Flight
The closest airport to our celebration by FAR, but a small, expensive option. A 15 minute drive from Bar Harbor, as the airport's actually in Trenton, ME.
Flight
Probably the best combined value for distance + price, the Bangor airport is a 1 hour drive to Bar Harbor, and has affordable roundtrip flights.
Flight
PWM (not to be confused with the Portland airport in Oregon!) is the closest "major" airport, and so may have more affordable flights depending on your starting location. Please note that it is an additional 3 hour drive to Bar Harbor from this one.
Travel Note
Having or renting a car may be the best option for getting to and around Acadia, so carpooling and coordinating with other guests is encouraged! Please contact Daniel to be put in touch with other guests, or if you have concerns about your logistical ability to make it up to celebrate with us-- we truly want to see you all there!
