We obviously love Acadia SO much, and we hope that you will, too. Any free time you're able to spend in Maine surrounding our festivities would be well-spent in the park! As noted elsewhere, please don't hesitate to ask for pass coordination help from the bride or groom when we get closer to the date, as there should be many park passes floating around, and they last for seven days! Our favorite spots include the intense Beehive hike (one of our first real dates), Long Pond (for kayaking, which we did our first summer in Maine), relaxing on Sand Beach (an annual activity for us!), Thunder Hole (take note of the tide schedules for this one), and overlooks at Otter Cliffs and Otter Point. Other popular things to do include visiting the secluded Schoodic Point, especially for stargazing, and driving up Cadillac Mountain, which requires a reservation.
We've never been here, actually, but if you're looking for an extensive online allergen menu or simply some great seafood, Geddy's tops the charts.
Famously, the restaurant where Daniel ate a lot of beans! Delicious Mexican food and cocktails. Their website appears to be down, so we've linked their FishMaine profile!
