Dan and Ashlee's first out-of-state trip together was to Washington, and they completely fell in the love with the area. To this day, it's still Dan and Ashlee's all-time favorite trip and adventure. Washington became their "home away from home" as the state has an abundance of all their favorite activities. During their trip, they visited the city of Leavenworth, a Bavarian-styled village in the Cascade Mountains, which shares the theme of their first date.
When Dan and Ashlee got engaged, they dreamed of sharing their vows in their favorite place.
They are also very excited and ready to be married!
They prayed and dreamed, and things started falling right into place making their dream elopement a reality.
Dan and Ashlee will be married in an intimate ceremony in Leavenworth, Washington on August 16th.
