Hotel
Please join us at our neighborhood hotel of choice, Claridge House! This boutique hotel is a family favorite and we are so excited to spend our wedding weekend here. Located in the heart of Gold Coast, this hotel is walking distance to some of Chicago's best experiences (Chicago History Museum, shopping on Rush St and Michigan Avenue, Lincoln Park Zoo, North Avenue Beach & Oak Street Beach, etc.) We have a limited block of rooms reserved so our guests can get the best deal possible during the holiday weekend. Please book directly through the link provided by July 31, 2024 to join our party. We hope you'll join us there! :)
Travel Note
For those new to Chicago, there is a ton of public transportation around the hotel's location to help you get around the city! Here are a few of the most accessible lines we recommend to get wherever you need to go: Lyft/Uber This is the most convenient way to get from O'Hare or Midway Airport as you arrive to Chicago. Both airports will have signage directing to Ride Share Zones. Chicago can be very easy to navigate by public transportation, but Lyft/Uber will be the best way to minimize walking between destinations if needed. We recommend scheduling your ride in advance if you are traveling to the airport at a peak time to get the best price. Red Line Train Stop at Clark & Division, will be fastest for north/south transportation as you're exploring throughout the weekend. Blue Line Train If you want to avoid taking a Lyft/Uber downtown when you arrive at the airport, you can take this train from O'Hare Airport to the city center. Transfer at Lake or Jackson to the Red Line and take that north (toward Howard) to Clark & Division where you will be just 1 block from the hotel. Orange Line Train If you want to avoid taking a Lyft/Uber downtown when you arrive at the airport, you can take this train from Midway Airport to the city center. Transfer at Roosevelt to the Red Line and take that north (toward Howard) to Clark & Division where you will be just 1 block from the hotel. 22 & 36 Buses Stop at Clark & Goethe, great for north/south transportation with a greater variety of stops throughout the city. These lines are the same between Clark & Goethe and Clark & Diversey. 72 Bus Stop at North & Clark (circle drive by Chicago History Museum), great for east/west transportation to Wicker Park and other west side neighborhoods. 151 Bus Stop at Lake Shore & Goethe, will take you directly down Michigan Avenue and get you closest to The Bean.
